A perfect holiday in a perfect villa. Amazing surroundings and views. Peaceful and so relaxing.The villa both inside and outside have everything you would want for a luxury holiday and more. The pool and garden were amazing, a real highlight of the holiday, just wow. Manolis and Poppi were great hosts. Checking we were ok and had what we needed, they had the perfect balance of not being intrusive but being at the end of the phone. We had a very late arrival and they thoughtfully made sure we had groceries for the morning. I contacted Manolis asking if he could recommend a nice place to eat locally for my husbands birthday, not only did he recommend somewhere but drove to the restaurant and arranged a surprise birthday cake..above and beyond! Such lovely people. After reading other reviews about the pizzas we didn’t regret saying yes to homemade pizzas..a real treat. You won’t regret booking this villa and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you Manolis and Poppi.

What a wonderful holiday! Villa Rokka is such a special place, with the most amazing views and outdoor space. Manolis is a fabulous, kind host and made the holiday feel so special, especially the last evening when we celebrated my sister’s birthday with wood fired pizza, Cretan live music and a yummy cake all arranged by him. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We arrived at 1am and were warmly greeted by Manolis with a big smile. He showed us how everything worked, this villa is seriously high-tech!
There’s fast Wi-Fi throughout, even at the bottom of the garden. Two cinema screens, large TVs in every room, and 5.1 surround sound in two rooms and outside made it feel like a luxury experience.
The gas BBQ is easy to use and clean, and the outdoor marble kitchen is perfect while the family swims. The saltwater pool is gentle on the skin, well-heated, and warm enough for the kids to enjoy all day.
Manolis also has a local travel blog full of ideas, making it easy to plan great days out. We’ve stayed in many villas across Greece, but this is the first one we all agreed we’d love to return to.

I have been taking my whole close family of 10 on holiday since 2015 for a real family quality time and this was my last time?
My daughter see Manolis's Villa on Air B&B and we decided to take a chance. Well I must be honest I was a bit worried up to the time we arrived, and WOW came to mind straight away and we stayed for two weeks, I must say for two weeks I lived lie a king and with all the family. What could be better, in my thought, nothing as every possible thing is included, jacuzzi, spar, pool, pizza oven, large toys foe kids, Large Chess, large snakes n ladders, push bikes, gas Barbeque, What more can I say apart from a offer of help way over and other Villa's owners I have ever stayed at apart from one that was very good but MANOLIS'S help was far and beyond, we hit it off right from the start when we actually see his immediate family and very young kids and they were all doing Greek dancing with us trying by the end of the evening.

Manolis was a fantastic host as he catered for us through out our stay as it 4 families with kids in the villa. there was lots to keep everyone entertained and he was on hand to help with our shopping, ideas for restaurant and transportation. The villa was very well looked after with all the latest gadgets. Thank you for all your help making sure we were looked after while at your villa.

Manolis is a great communicator and host. We could not use the villa because we had a health issue but our friends made use of the villa and really enjoyed the view, the pool, and with Manolis's help, although they did not have a car, they were able to get taxis to tavernas, the beach and supermarkets without difficulty. A wonderful place for a retreat, our friends said. Big thanks to Manolis for his kind attention.

Our stay at Villa Rokka Luxe was absolutely wonderful. I'll start with the beautiful views that surrounded us – my husband especially enjoyed his morning coffee outside, taking in the tranquility and scenery. The area is incredibly peaceful, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
The yard was fantastically designed, with plenty of places to relax and unwind. Additionally, the proximity to hiking trails was a huge plus for us, as we love hiking.
The host was extremely helpful and kind. One time, he even washed our car with a pressure washer when he came to tidy up the yard. This truly shows how much he cares about his guests. Moreover, when I needed a monitor for remote work, he had no problem lending one to us.
Villa Rokka Luxe is a place I can sincerely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the property. The pool and the view over the valley from it are absolutely stunning! You could even watch vultures from the whirlpool! Also kids wont get bored not just a second there. But the property and Manolis offers so much more, impossible to mention it all in a short review. Manolis, which is the owner, is a very sympathetic host with an outstanding attention to details which will make your stay even more unforgettable.
We had also a nice evening with Pizzas right out of a stone oven, together with him and his amazing family - felt like friends ☺️

Onze host Manolis was een echte superhost. Hij stond altijd voor ons klaar wanneer we iets niet begrepen of nodig hadden. De locatie was fantastisch en rustig, met als enig minpuntje dat er geen supermarkt op loopafstand was. Dit vereiste wat planning voor de boodschappen.
's Avonds genoten we echter volop van de jacuzzi en de prachtige sterrenhemel. De kamers waren keurig en het internetbereik was ook goed. Kortom, een geweldig verblijf en een absolute aanrader!

Manolis is a great host who genuinely cares about his guest and ensuring they have a great holiday. The property is fantastic with amazing views, great place to relax. But also only a short drive to restaurants/shops in Kissamos and Chania. Our children loved the outdoor cinema and pool, the outdoor space is great for families. Manolis was always happy to help with recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc and goes above and beyond what most hosts do for their guests

The house of Manolis was exactly what we needed to get some rest. The place is amazing with incredible view. House very comfortable, clean, with all necessary equipment and with lot of activities in the garden. We have found there everything we needed and especially privacy, silence and beautiful view. The village itself is also very beautiful with some ancient ruins.

Our stay at Villa Rokka was absolutely unforgettable, and Manolis is a truly exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, we could tell that the villa was thoughtfully designed with the guests' comfort and enjoyment in mind. This really is a stand-out property in a unique location and our expectations were completely exceeded, particularly by the host Manolis and his family who made us immediately feel at home and immediately in holiday mode.
Having stayed at many villa-with-pool type properties across Europe, the combination of this property- and the kindness and attentiveness of the hosts - puts this at the very top of our experiences and we wholly intend to return as soon as possible.

It’s hard to wrap my brain around now truly wonderful this stay was. Manolis and his family greeted us on arrival and showed us around. I have never had a Air BNB host do that, ever! The pool was amazing and hiking the historic ruins around the property were a great way to spend the evening. The home was warm and wonderful, bed super comfy and just full of amazing bright light! Villa Rokka was a truly wonderful base for our family holiday in West Crete. The location is exceptional - amazing views across the Rokka Gorge, and the sounds of nature all around. The villa is modern and spotlessly clean - with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including excellent WiFi, AC and comfortable beds. The outdoor space is exceptional, with a beautiful pool, spa area and jacuzzi, alongside a pizza oven and bbq. The villa is a short drive to local shops, bakery and amenities, with the main town of Kissamos just a 15 min drive away.
Without doubt, the most special thing about Villa Rokka is its hosts, Manolis and Poppy. We we’re greeted on arrival with a fully stocked fridge and other thoughtful gifts and a full briefing on the local area and things to see and do. Manolis and Poppy kindly arranged pizza making evenings at the Villa - and made the best pizza we’ve ever tasted, including a special souvlaki pizza and a chocolate and banana pizza which our toddler keeps talking about! Poppy also kindly prepared a moussaka for us which was delicious!
They were kind, generous, humble and attentive hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They are genuinely the very best example of AirBnB hosting I’ve ever experienced and made our stay truly memorable. We felt very lucky to be hosted by them - and wish them deserved success as they continue to develop their vision for Villa Rokka.

Where to start, if I could give an infinity star review I would. Manolis was so wonderful, informative, knowledgeable, professional, communication was absolutely amazing! He did so much for me for this holiday, I cannot express how thankful I am for having to be able to cross paths with Manolis, George, and a plethora of others Manolis was able to get me into contact with on my holiday. The two properties I stayed at, the Villa Rokka and Elafonisi apartment that Manolis & George hosted for me. From day one, about three months ago when I made this reservation Manolis has been there every step of the way. The Elafonisi apartment was perfect and I could almost walk to a few of the places I wanted to visit, Manolis added to that for a specific beach for me to go to on top of the Elafonisi beach. George waited for me to get there, showed me the apartment and even had a fruit bowl, a Great bottle of local wine and beers in the fridge. It was a wonderful welcome that night, since it took me 48 hours travel time to even there flights wise. I stayed 2 days. When I finally checked into Villa Rokka, the photos alone I was so excited already for my stay. He walked through the property with me showing me every detail of Villa itself. And oh my gosh all the work he put into the Villa exceeds the photos and information on AirB&B. From a private pool and spas to use, a whole house surround sound, lights, the beds, the bathrooms the kitchen, everything you could possibly need and some, and the view! The view is priceless, breathtaking, and to enjoy a nice glass of wine from the pool area just thinking wow this So Beautiful! It was quiet, relaxing, so clean and so comfortable. Manolis also had some local beers in the fridge, along with waters, sodas, coffee, spices, All kitchen wear needed or wanted and some! He also bought grocery items that came into great use after a long day of sight seeing and hiking. He had a whole booklet of where to hike, where to eat, where to get groceries, things to do and must places to see and eat at, as well how to work all the Technology that is integrated into the Villa. He had towels for inside and outside, cute little slippers to give it the luxury hotel comfort, it was better than any luxury hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Outdoor kitchen with things you want or need. The best toiletries ready for you. If you stay up a little later to watch the pool and back yard lights come on, it’s exactly like the pictures you see. I woke up one night just go out there and enjoy that after sunset. The Spa is great on a relaxing night. Besides all of that Manolis is thee best host I’ve ever encountered in my years itself. He also had homemade moussaka dropped off he made. It was so tasty. He exceeded any expectations I even had and made my holiday the most wonderful experience ever. If you ever want the best holiday or trip, Manolis is your person. I’ve felt like friend and family since my very first message between Manolis and I. I feel so lucky and grateful for my time spent here. You would want to spend yours as well.

I can’t begin to explain how fantastic our stay at Villa Rokka was! Manolis and Poppy define the words “above and beyond” as hosts. If you are staying in Crete, this is a must book. We had a flight delay that caused us to miss our rental car pickup from Chania, and Manolis and Poppy drove the 55 minutes to the airport to pick us up at 1 am. The Villa is beautiful, the view of the pool, Rokka Gorge and wildlife is fabulous! The Villa is wonderful on the inside as well.
Manolis and Poppy recommend so many wonderful local spots and were also very helpful when we wanted to book activities and rentals away from the property. Manolis called ahead for us to be able to snag the last ATV a company had left for our trip to Balos beach (which we definitely recommend over a car for a day trip to balos).
Manolis and Poppy take so much pride in their property and the care they take of their guests. We had read previous reviews of their famous wood grilled pizzas and mentioned it to them. On our last night they treated us to a fabulous pizza feast! We have never eaten so much pizza in our lives and wish we could have eaten more. Anything we needed Manolis responded within minutes to any questions or concerns we had. We hope to return to Crete and when we do, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Wow Wow Wow. This is such an incredible Airbnb. We feel so lucky and privileged to have stayed here. Manolis and Poppi are the best hosts we have ever had and we have stayed in over 200 Airbnb’s. The photos you see are totally real in fact they don’t do the place justice as the views and the pool are out of this world. Manolis has thought of everything. We had a fully stocked fridge which we didn’t expect, lots of choice of coffee, tea, the usual staples and so much more. The WiFi was brilliant. We couldn’t believe that in the mountains WiFi could be so good. It’s much better than ours at home in the UK. He has different WiFi connections so that it is just as good outside as it is in the house. The television had every channel imaginable and it was huge with surround sound. The beds were also super comfortable.
Did I mention those views! Lol. We have never stayed anywhere with such incredible views from every angle. The pool is a real treat as well as the pool area. Fantastic furniture, music from blue tooth, lighting at night. It’s just so beautiful and our favourite part of the property. If you walk out of the property to the right and up to the old buildings you will see even more amazing views of the Rokka gorge as well as lots of goats. There were beautiful wild flowers up there too. I could not stop taking photos during our while stay. The eagles above in the sky, the swift’s dipping into the water, the goats and sheep climbing up the mountain.
The location was also perfect. Only 10 minutes to a lovely local restaurant on Manolis recommended list that served fantastic food at very reasonable prices and the house was 15 minutes from Kissamos. We would also recommend Biolea Astricas Estate which does free olive oil tours and has a restaurant with incredible service. Everything in the restaurant was explained to us with such passion and they use all local produce. It is the house you can see from the pool in the distance through the mountains. We went to Gramvoussa restaurant which is on the road to Balos but a sealed road. The food was great but the service not so much. It it is worth going as the actual restaurant is beautiful. There is also a book in the house with lots of suggestions in too.
We also hired a jeep for the day and we went to Balos which is beautiful and a must do (I wouldn’t recommend going in a normal hire car though as it’s not a sealed road), Milia Mountain retreat for lunch which we would highly recommend, through lots of lovely villages to Elafonisi and then we took the coastal route back to Falassarna. Just make sure you fill up with petrol. None of the restaurants were open in Falassarna as we went in April but they looked lovely.
Our highlight of our stay though was the hospitality from Manolis and Poppi. They asked us if we’d like the, to cook us some pizzas so we spent an evening with them and have never eaten so much delicious pizza. They were amazing. We loved spending time with them and they are both such lovely people. We also pleased that we got to meet their new baby when we left as they came to see us off.
We really hope we get to stay again in the future but worry that it’ll be booked up and they’ll be no availability as I know that people will keep going back and I hope they do as so much time, thought and money has gone into the property and grounds that they deserve it. We fell in love with Crete, the people, the food and the scenery. We wish Manolis and his family all the best for the future and thank them for making our holiday so special.

Villa Rokka is a DREAM! It is set in a stunning location surrounded by mountains and by the Rokka Gorge which is easy to visit. There is peace, quiet and privacy and yet Kissamos is only 15 minutes driving with everything it has to offer. The Villa has great facilities including an outdoor pizza oven and BBQ. The most amazing feature is the heated pool which is big! You can actually do proper swimming and then you can easily get into the jacuzzi and enjoy your time looking at the mountains with eagles flying up. In the night, the sky is clear and full of stars. Manolis is the most excellent host. Caring and attentive and getting out of his way to ensure you have the most wonderful time ay his villa. Really highly recommended!

Rocca and the house of Manolis is a place for special people. People who are searching a place to respire, trying to find distance, alone in solitude, willing to regenerate and finding a way of peace are perfectly right here. In the night you hear nothing - maybe a sheep sending a last salute. Or some mystical shouts from the mountain leaving you recognize being in the nature. All being embedded with local people and the aroma of olive trees. We are very thankful having the occasion being guests of Manolis and his family. They do everything for you, reacting fast on questions and and helping wherever they can. And be sure that is more you ever have experienced. The more on that what we found in the house and the great SPA with pool and jacuzzi and whirlpool, the great silence and all necessary things you are in need are people we would like to see as friends. Warm-heated, down-to-earth, hospitable and more...we will never forget the BBQ we had, doing Pizza in the rock fireplaces and talking about the sense of life. Thank you for this great time, my friend. We hope to see one day in Hamburg again.

Wir haben uns in Rokka für 2 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ort ist günstig gelegen, mit dem Auto 45min nach Chania, 15min zum Meer, 5-10 zu nahe gelegenen Restaurants. Zu den Traumstränden Elafonisi und Balos benötigt man ca. 1h.
Der Blick vom Pool und der Terrasse auf die Berge ist einmalig.
Das Haus wird zwischendurch bei Bedarf gereinigt, inkl. neuer Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Alles, was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Manolis ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Bei der Ankunft standen kalte Getränke, Obst etc. bereit. Schön war ein gemeinsamer Abend mit seiner Familie, mit Cretescher Musik mit Lyra und Laute (live!), Tanz(versuchen) und reichlich Pizza aus dem Steinofen. Wir können Manolis Villa Rokka empfehlen!

If you just need to switch off for a week or two this is the place. The location is remote and peaceful the views from the pool area are fabulous. Where else can you watch swallows, goats and vultures from the hottub. Manolis gave us a very generous starter pack to get us going. His communication was excellent fabulous host.

we stayed at Villa Rokka for 10 days and enjoyed every moment.
the property is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you could need to to relax or even comfortably work remotely (this was a key point for us). this internet connection was on point and very reliable for video calls etc throughout the property and every from beside the beautiful pool area.
And the pool...oh that pool...it is Wonderful!! there were days we just spent at the house instead of the beaches just to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi.
The best part of the stay is Manolis and his family - their guidence and suggestions for reastaurants, activities are invaluable and i highly suggest you take up any offers for his wood fired pizza!

Rokka är fantastiskt vackert! Vi spenderade en månad här med vår snart 1 åriga son, min mamma och hennes man. Det gick utmärkt att bo 2 par och en bäbis i detta boende. Vi var nöjda med alla bekvämligheter, sängarna och så vidare.
Det allra bästa med detta boende är platsen (utsikten) och poolen! Det är en enormt påkostad stor pool som var perfekt tempererad under hela vår vistelse i oktober. Dag som kväll var det underbart att bada i den!
Vi vandrade mycket under vår vistelse och rekommenderar absolut att utforska Rokka Gorge samt lämningarna uppe på klippan! Även att promenera runt i trakten längs vägarna är fantastiskt och missa inte att gå och handla honung och Raki i byn i närheten😋
Manolis är en mycket godhjärtad och uppmärksam värd som svarar blixtsnabbt på varje fråga. Vi fick mycket bra städning en gång i veckan. Han kom med fru och barn och bakade 15 pizzor till oss som räckte i många dagar!😍🤣👌
Denna generositet visade sig även i hur mycket extra grejer vi fick till oss själva och vår bäbis vid ankomsten! Baddräkt, filtar, flytgrejer att bada med. En utmärkt barnstol och spjälsäng som underlättade ytterligare. Köket var fyllt med goda grejer, frukt och kaffe vid ankomst, mycket uppskattat!
Några grejer föll inte just oss i smaken, men det handlade om helt personlig smak. Så som att belysningen utomhus var i lite tokiga färger och det gick inte att få det på nått annat sätt. We spent almost three weeks in the Villa Rokka.
The house is furnished with a lot of love, everything is available what you need.
The large pool is so amazing.
You have an outstanding view from there into The Valley.
If you are looking for peace and recreation , this is the place for you.
Manolis is a wonderful host, he gave us a lot of tips for good restaurants and nice excursions and we could learn a lot about Greece from him.
He always answers immediately.
We baked pizza together with Manolis and Poppy spoiled us with Greek desserts.
Villa Rocca is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
Do not hesitate and book Villa Rocka before others do in your preferred time.
We would like to thank Manolis and Poppy for the wonderful vacation we were able to spend there.

הוילה נמצאת בקצה כפר קטן בשם rokka על הר, 7 ק"מ מקיסאמוס.
מיקום מעולה למי שמחפש לטייל במערב האי ובחופים המדהימים שבאיזור.
מבחוץ הבית נראה פשוט וצנוע כמו שאר בתי הכפר אך מבפנים מדובר על בית חכם עם כל האיבזור והגאדג'טים שאתם יכולים לתאר. מערכות שמע ותאורה מיוחדות, טלפון קווי לשימוש חופשי, wifi מצויין בכל האיזורים נטפליקס ועוד המון דברים שבטח לא שמנו לב אליהם.
מנוליס ופופיז הבעלים קיבלו אותנו בזרועות פותחות ונדיבות יוצאת דופן.
המקרר היה מפוצץ בכל טוב, פחיות שתיה מכל הסוגים, מוצרי גבינה וחלב, בירות, פירות טריים, גלידה ענקית, שקיות קרח, קפסולות נספרסו ללא הגבלה ועוד ועוד... באמת כל מה שצריך לימים הראשונים.
מקלחוני זרמים בחדר הורים ובחדר רחצה הראשי, חדרים מעוצבים עם מצעים מפנקים עם כל האבזור הנדרש.
בגינה טאבון ומנגל מוכנים להפעלה עם כל הדרוש.
הבריכה מדהימה והנוף שנשקף ממנה פשוט עוצר נשימה.ג'קוזי מטורף, ומפל מים כמו כן מערכת סאונד הכוללת תאורת לייזר לכיון הקניון - פשוט מדהים.
על כוס קפה קיבלנו ממנוליס טיפים על מסלולים, מסעדות, וכל מה שצריך שבאיזור.
מהבריכה יש פתח לתחילת טיול טבע שבקניון הסמוך..
ההרגשה הייתה של אירוח כמו בני משפחה.
שירות כזה מדהים של אנשים טובים לא פוגשים בכל יום!!!

Villa Rokka is a magnificent venue for the ultimate relaxation and quiet time. The views of Rokka Gorge from the pool area, and the outdoor area itself make you not needing to go anywhere else. Having seen much of Crete before, we ended up just enjoying the villa for many of our days in Rokka.
Having rented private pool villas for many years in Crete, this is the best spot we have found so far. All the details are just right, like the Nespresso coffee machine, outdoor shower, wood BBQ, great WiFi, and so on.
The location is just to our liking - by itself with no neighbors close by in the countryside, but with a few (really good local) tavernas nearby, and just 15 minutes by car to the city of Kissamos. We found the layout of the villa ideal for one couple, or a couple with kids - and there are many cozy corners for the right mix of sun, shade, and soft chairs.
Manolis and Poppy are excellent and very responsive hosts - we got a great welcome and house tour, and whatever our heart desired Manolis was immediately ready with spot on recommendations for the local food and attractions.

Excellent! The property is really secluded with a nice view on the hills. The pool-Spa area is very enjoyable and relaxing. At night the colored lights create a very cosy atmosphere. The length of the pool allows for a good swimming as we love!
The house and the pool area are very clean, and the owners are very nice and helpful. They gave us plenty of advices on places or beaches to visit. They left fruits, beverages and some food in the kitchen, so when we arrived, we did not need to rush to the local supermarkets, located 7-10 minutes from the property.
The beach is nearby, 15 minutes, but in Crete is worth to explore various beaches, as they are really gorgeous and different from each other.
All the furniture is high quality and the whole property is well maintained. Bathrooms are very clean and the bedrooms have a cosy style.
We really enjoyed the stay at Villa Rokka, and we will be back soon!

Don't miss this!!!! One of the best Airbnbs worldwide! This place is beyond imagination. It's even more beautiful than the pictures show. We are still completely mindblown and thankful for our experiences here! Beautiful, large, heated pool for swimming during day and night. Waking up to the sound of goats and sheep. Relaxing in the jacuzzi while watching eagles and vultures flying above. You just can't stop staring and watching all this beautiful nature around you. Comfortable sunbeds, beautiful views, BBQ in the evening while listening to music... just the perfect getaway! Manolis and Poppi are amazing and caring hosts. You really feel and see how much passion Manolis is putting into this beautiful place! He is extremely attentive and caring and always just one WhatsApp-message away:) and the one evening they came around with Manolis parents for a little talk an some drinks was one of the nicest evenings during our stay! Sincere, arodable, wonderful people. You are lucky, if you have the opportunity to meet them:) Villa Rokka is the perfect mix of modern luxury and romantic, ancient Greece! I've used airbnb a lot and I am pretty picky when it comes to airbnb houses and villas, but this place exceeded my expectations by far. We are absolutely enamored with this place, hospitality and care. Manolis, your family gave us the best Crete experience! Meeting at the doorstep and a detailed story about the opportunities for pastime, cooking and travel. The house has everything you can only dream of. You have taken care of a cozy and comfortable sleep by providing comfortable mattresses and pillows, beautiful underwear and pajamas. Pajamas - it amazed us! Lovely warm pool and jacuzzi overlooking the Rocca Gorge, eagles and goats on the slopes lined with olive trees. The refrigerator and all cupboards were full of assorted treats, fruits and drinks. Your family has taken great care of this. Your mom baked delicious Greek cheese pies that were delivered straight from the oven to the villa. Manolis, you were in touch with us every day so that we did not need anything and gave a lot of necessary advice on visiting interesting places and good restaurants. Manolis and Poppi, you have made our holiday enchanting and wonderful! We will definitely recommend your home to our friends. We are already bored and really want to return! Η διαμονή μας ήταν πάρα πολύ όμορφη στο χωριό Ρόκκα. Είναι ένα πολύ γραφικό χωριό με ωραία θέα και ιδανικό για εξορμήσεις σαββατοκύριακα τον χειμώνα! Το σπίτι ήταν πάρα πολύ όμορφα στολισμένο χριστουγεννιάτικα και με όλες τις ανέσεις που χρειάζεται κάποιος για μια άνετη διαμονή. Ήταν ακριβώς αυτό που χρειαζόμαστε για να γεμίσουμε ενέργεια. Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε για ένα διήμερο και ίσως παραπάνω!

Η βίλα είναι πολύ εντυπωσιακή , μόλις μπήκαμε στο σπιτι είδαμε κατευθείαν από τον χώρο του σαλονιού την θέα προς τον εξωτερικό χώρο που βλέπεις την πισίνα και δίπλα της το όμορφο φαράγγι του χωριού . Το υπνοδωμάτιο που διαλέξαμε ήταν πολύ άνετο και ευρύχωρο αλλά το πιο εντυπωσιακό ήταν όταν βράδιαζε η διαφορά θερμοκρασίας της πισίνας με τον έξω καιρό είχε μεγάλη διαφορά και το νερό της πισίνας «άχνιζε» και βλέπαμε τους ατμους πάνω από το νερό , δεν ξέρω τι θερμοκρασία είχε η πισίνα αλλά δεν θέλαμε να βγούμε έξω ! Ήταν πάρα πολύ ζεστή και έξω είχε πολύ κρύο! Ευτυχώς βρήκαμε από πριν τα μπουρνούζια που ήταν διαθέσιμα στην ντουλάπα και τα φορέσαμε . Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε !!

Lorem ipsumManolis place is a perfect retreat in the mountains. We were spontaneously looking for a holiday in Covid-times and found a perfect villa far away from the crowds.
The views from the balcony and from the perfect clean pool/ jacuzzi are breathtaking ! Manolis is a perfect host, he provided us with food for the first day, as we were arriving late in the night. Everything was clean and practical, the kitchen is equipped with lots of helpful things, there is a BBQ outside and a complete book with recommendations for beaches and locations around.
The communication was uncomplicated and we got reactions immediately.
We can fully recommend Villa Rokka for those who like to spend their holidays away from the crowded areas under the stars ( even a telescope is at the balcony !), watching eagles flying around and relaxing - because of the remote area you will definitely need a car !

I have never experienced a host like manolis and we have stayed in a lot of villas. There werent anything he didnt cover and any time you needed anythin he was there in minutes to reply and help even as much as calling a take away meal for us when we was to tired to go out! What a great two weeks and manolis and family made it alot better especially when they come around to cook home made pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven letting the children make their own. Me my wife and two children counldnt have enjoyed the villa anymore you need a car if your and get to see so many amazing beaches and the view every day from the pool Is special. Thank you manolis and family once again we will be returning again!

Our stay at Manolis Villa was by far my best Airbnb experience. Manolis is an incredible host; he carefully explains everything you need to know about the house, the city, and he is always promptly available to answer your questions. It is hard to describe the villa; it is even more stunning than what you see in the pictures, the view is breathtaking, the mountains and olive trees around you with the modern swimming pool layout makes an incredible combination. The house has everything you need, comfy beds, big showers, BBQ grill, wood-fired oven, sound system in the house and outside by the pool. Manolis also came over one night to bake some delicious wood-fired pizza.
The pool is something else, I never tried Ozone therapy before, and that was the cleanest and relaxing water I have ever swum, a must-try.
Big thanks to Manolis and his fiancé for the incredible hospitality.

My stay at the villa was for business purposes. What I needed for my stay was good wifi and I had it, also good sleep and I had it, and finally good air conditioning and I had that too. Nos hôtes ont étés très accueuillants et vraiment au petit soin, ils nous ont conseillés sur tout ce qu'il y avait a voir aux alentours, ainsi qur les meilleurs restaurants, les endroits où faire nos courses ect... En ce qui concerne la villa, magnifique ! Très propre, soingée, hi-tech, lits d'un incroyable confort. Bref si vous aimez être chouchouter, conseillés par des locaux et vous sentir comme chez vous cette villa et ses propriétaires sont fait pour vous 😉

Manolis and Popi made our stay really wonderful! We cooked food together and he taught us how to make pizza in a wood fired pizza oven 🙂 we stayed in the villa for a while and worked from there, the wifi worked perfectly inside and outside. The house is right besides an ancient village and the view from it is amazing. We went hiking down through the gorge and also climbed the rock that is behind the house - I highly recommend, the view there is incredible.

Η διαμονή μας ήταν ότι πιο ευχαριστη και χαλαρωτική ! Ήσυχο μέρος με απίστευτη θεά! Ο χώρος ήταν πολύ καθαρός με πιστοποίηση απολύμανσης για Covid-19... πολύ μοντέρνο σπίτι με όλες τις ανέσεις και τις παροχες..ότι χρειαζόμασταν υπήρχε στο σπίτι.. και το καλύτερο φυσικά η πισίνα στον εξωτερικό χώρο όπου απολαμβάναμε καθημερινά μπάνια ακόμα και το βράδυ με μουσική από ηχεία πάνω από την πισίνα ακριβώς ! Νιώθεις μοναδικά όταν κολυμπάς ‘μέσα στο βουνό ‘ έτσι ήταν η αίσθηση μέσα από την πισίνα ! Ο οικοδεσπότης πολύ ευγενικός μας έδωσε πολλές προτάσεις για το μέρος και στο που να κινηθούμε από μαγαζιά.. 2 φορές χρειαστήκαμε κάτι και αμέσως μας βοήθησε.... και στο τέλος μας περιποιήθηκε για να μας ευχαριστήσει με μαγείρεμα στον ξυλόφουρνο του εξωτερικού χώρου με πολύ νόστιμες πίτσες ! Σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε και του χρόνου ! Η απόλυτη αίσθηση της γαλήνης! Μαγικό μέρος !!

Manolis has created a wonderful place which combines tradition with modernity as well as the simplicity of the tradition with the modern luxuries.
The bedroom with the arch and the mirrors as well as the ensuite bath with the trasparent glass are incredible and really trig your senses.
There is also a balcony with an amazing view and all that in a silent and peacefull environment.I couldn't have not mention the 55 inches screen with the home cinema where we enjoyed some movies while chilling.
The house was very clean and tide and
Manolis was a perfect host.
The location is very good considering that it is in a spot where all sightseeings are within a short distance and easy ro reach.
We had a great time and i highly reccomend it!

We had a very pleasant stay in a house full of conveniences!A very beautiful,calm area with an amazing view from the balcony,silence and everything a traveller seeks for!The house was fully equipped,anything a guest would need was there including a very strong wifi signal and a high speed broadband! The house is very clean and tidy and easily accessible. I highly reccomend this place and definitely will stay there again on our next visit!

Μία καταπληκτική, πετρόχτιστη βίλα για υπέροχες στιγμές. Αυτό που μας κέρδισε από την πρώτη στιγμή ήταν οι ανέσεις που σου πρόσφερε σε κάθε όροφο. Ένας καινούργιος, μοντέρνος, σύγχρονος, καλαίσθητος, ρομαντικός και καθαρός χώρος όπου μπορώ να πω με βεβαιότητα με κερδίσε από την πρώτη στιγμή. Ο συνδυασμός του μαγευτικού τοπίου, με την απίστευτη θέα σε κάθε ξημέρωμα μας έκανε να ζήσουμε αξέχαστες στιγμές. Ο ιδιοκτήτης με κέρδισε με το χαμόγελο του και την διακριτικότητα του. Η Κρητική του φιλοξενία και οι ξεκαθαρες οδηγίες για τα αυθεντικά τοπικά αξιοθέατα και τις καλύτερες παραλίες μας βοήθησε για να έχουμε τις καλύτερες διακοπές που είχαμε ποτέ. Σε ευχαριστούμε από την καρδιά μας και θα τα πούμε σύντομα πάλι.

È stato disponibile anche a tarda serata per portarci le chiavi di riserva!
Abbiamo chiesto un ombrellone da spiaggia e in 20 minuti era davanti alla porta di casa con una cesta di verdure!... che dire è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa e le persone di creta sono autentiche e incredibili per ospitalità!

Потрясающая вилла в горах! Мы бронировали её только на одну ночь по пути из одного города в другой. И оказавшись там мы очень пожалели, что не забронировали хотя бы на три ночи, уж очень там уютно и комфортно, и вид с балкона потрясающий. Здесь есть всё, что вам необходимо для отдыха и если у вас есть машина, то вы без труда доедете до любого ближайшего пляжа.

The house is located to a very beautiful space and we saw the local festivals in Rokka. Manolis told us that in a few days they will have a very famous festival with thousands of people next to the house on the hill of the mountain in the light of the moon. Inside of the house we found everything we was needed, very good speeds of internet that we wanted because of our jobs.
P.S. Netflix with surround system was perfect at the nights!

Everything was perfect and much better than the photos! Rokka is a very beautiful place that you can relax when you have your holidays! At day the balcony was the best view we could find and at the night the bed was very comfortable and we had good sleep to have power at the next day.

Vi kan varmt anbefale Manolis bolig. Vi har igennem årene boet mange forskellige steder, men aldrig så rent et sted som Villa Rokka. Derudover skal det bemærkes, at intet er overladt til tilfældighederne i Villa Rokka. Alt er gennemført lavet. Fx myggenet i stort set alle vinduer og døre. Derudover er der fryseelementer til rådighed i huset, som kan lånes, så drikkevarerne og madpakke til stranden holdes køling i den køletaske, som står til rådighed i Villa Rokka. Ja, og så er der alle de andre skønne ting, som skoder for alle vinduer og døre, så Villa Rokka holdes køling døgnet rundt. Den lækre dobbeltbruser. Vaskemaskinen med dertilhørende vaskemiddel. Affaldsposer, opvaskemiddel, toiletpapir og shampoo samt håndsæbe - ting som vi ikke tager for givet, at der står til rådighed i et lejet hus. Manolis leverede for øvrigt en aften - til vores store glæde og fornøjelse - en kasse med friske grøntsager og hjemmelavet pizza til døren. Tak for et skønt ophold.

Manolis was truly an amazing host - quick responses, local gifts (family made wine, raki, pastries, olive oil). We had a late flight, therefore Manolis stayed late to offer late check-in and bough us drinks and food for the first night and breakfast. The place is in a great location if you like nature, peace and mountains. Great place to cook food outside (bbq). Air conditioning, two baths, different styles of coffee machines, fully equipped kitchen. Manolis offered suggestions, helped to organise activities. Great sound system, smart TV with Netflix. Highly recommended place if you're looking for a peaceful place to stay, enjoy the mountains and bbq some food.
